Ministries

We believe that there is a place for everyone to share their spiritual gifts at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Through our wide variety of ministries, you can grow in and share your faith with fellow Christians looking to make their church and community stronger.

Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry is committed to: inspiring each sister in the faith to continuously build a better relationship with God and each other; connecting women to God and woman-to-woman; and supporting the spiritual growth for our ASBC sisters and sisters all over our community.

Men’s Ministry

The goals and objectives of the Men’s Ministry are to actively engage all men disciples of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in MINISTRY; we believe that through our works and our example, lives will be impacted, burdens lightened and souls transformed: All for the Cause of Jesus Christ.

Seniors Ministry

The purpose of the Seniors Ministry is to identify and address the spiritual, educational, personal, health, safety and social support needs of our senior members and  to reach out to seniors in the community and invite them to experience Christian fellowship at the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

Couples Ministry
The purpose of the Couples Ministry is to enrich the lives of couples and those engaged to be married to bring them to a closer and more intimate relationship with God and their spouses through Biblical education, workshops, retreats, conferences, seminars, and recreational activities.

Singles Ministry

The Singles Ministry brings together singles of all ages — never married, divorced or widowed who want to deepen their relationship with God. You’ll find ways to connect with Him and others through seminars, prayer partnering, mission outreach and fellowship.

Youth Ministry
Age 13 – 18
The Youth Ministry dedicates time, love and energy to foster the personal spiritual growth of the teens at Mt. Olive. Our main mission is to lead the youth to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior, empower and equip them to be Christian examples and leaders everywhere they go, and to build fruitful relationships as their mentors.

College  Ministry
The purpose of the College Ministry is to serve undergraduate college students (Ages 17 -25). The ministry seeks to encourage and strengthen students’ spiritual growth and relationship with God while in college.  The ministry serves as a resource to further deepen their faith by focusing on fellowship and community outreach.

Young Adult Ministry

The Young Adult Ministry (YAM) serves men and women ages 21–-39. This ministry seeks to encourage and equip young adults to grow and strengthen their relationship with God as well as to help create and grow connections of young adults to the body of Christ .YAM serves as a resource for young adults to deepen their faith through practice by focusing on fellowship, community outreach, spiritual growth, and personal/professional development

Military Support Ministry

The mission of the Military Support Ministry is to provide opportunities for active duty military, military veterans, and to serve deployed soldiers, the local military community of veterans, and provide opportunities for fellowship.

Cub Scouts

Boys – Grades 1-6 (ages 6 – 10.5)
Every Monday, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Cub Scouts is a fun and educational program concerned with values. The Cub Scouts program provides a positive place where boys can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, focusing on building character, improving physical fitness, learning practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service.

Boy Scouts

Boys – Grades 7-12 (ages 10.5-18)
Every Monday,  6:00 – 10:00 p.m.
A boy can be a Scout if he has completed the fifth grade and is at least 10 years old or is age 11 or has earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but has NOT reached age 18. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is to prepare young boys to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law, and to help them develop into honorable men.
